Parent/Guardian NEWSLETTER
Good afternoon! I hope that all of our students had a great first week back. We have a busy week in front of us, with several fall sports starting. For information regarding game times and locations please see Coach Gregory's weekly emails. If your high school student(s) are interested in the fall theatre production of The Old Man and the Old Moon there will be a workshop on Thursday, August 8th, beginning at 4:15 pm. Auditions for the production will take place on Thursday, August 15th, beginning at 4:15 pm. If you have any questions I highly encourage you to contact Mrs. Mandy Conner, CSHS Theatre Director. Thank you again for all the support throughout this very first week.
Attendance Information: If your student has been out sick, or they will miss for another reason please contact Ms. Ema Moes, CSHS Attendance Clerk. Students can have up to four parent notes per semester. One absence = one parent note. If you have questions do not hesitate to email Ms. Moes.
Drop-off and Pick-up: All buses will drop-off and pick-up students at the front entrance of the school, by the front office. All car riders will be dropped off and picked up in front of the cafeteria each morning and afternoon. If you have questions do not hesitate to contact the front office.
Dual Credit Information: Dual Credit courses begin Monday, August 26th. Payment is due by Friday, August 16th. Brightspace is the platform that will be utilized for Dual Credit. If you have questions regarding Dual Credit contact Mrs. Meghan Harvey
Spain: If your student(s) are interested in studying abroad during the summer of 2026, there will be an informational meeting for parents on Tuesday, August 27th, at 6:00 pm in the CSHS Library. If you have questions or are interested I encourage you to reach out to Mrs. Suzanne Risinger, CSHS Spanish teacher and sponsor for this unique educational opportunity.
Academic UIL: If your student(s) are interested in participating in UIL Academics, there are many opportunities for them to be involved. If they have questions or you do do not hestitate to reach out to Mrs. Suzanne Risinger.
Football Programs: The CSHS Cheer Booster Club is once again responsible for the programs, with our student council selling them at Home football games. I will send a seperate email that will contain Program information.
