China Spring High School

Good afternoon!  I hope that each of you have had a great weekend. I want to point out to the parents and guardians of juniors that representatives from Herff-Jones will meet with the junior class on Wednesday, August 14th, to discuss Class rings. If you are interested in purchasing a class ring for your student, orders will be on Tuesday, August 20th and Wednesday, August 21st.
As we enter the second full week of the school year, I want to remind parents that if you have questions regarding grades do not hesitate to contact the teachers.

Attendance Information:  If your student has been out sick, or they will miss for another reason please contact Ms. Ema Moes, CSHS Attendance Clerk.  Students can have up to four parent notes per semester.  One absence = one parent note.  If you have questions do not hesitate to email Ms. Moes.

Drop-off and Pick-up:  All buses will drop-off and pick-up students at the front entrance of the school, by the front office.  All car riders will be dropped off and picked up in front of the cafeteria each morning and afternoon.  If you have questions do not hesitate to contact the front office.

Dual Credit Information:  All parents and guardians, of dual credit students, should be receiving emails pertaining to dual credit. If you have not received them, please contact Mrs. Harvey to verify we have the correct email on file. There is a mandatory meeting on Thursday, August 22nd, in the cafeteria where MCC representatives will be on campus to help students ensure they're logged in on all platforms. Classes begin on Monday, August 26th and payment is due to MCC by Friday, August 16th. If you have questions contact Mrs. Meghan Harvey.

Spain:  If your student(s) are interested in studying abroad during the summer of 2026, there will be an informational meeting for parents on Tuesday, August 27^th, at 6:00 pm in the CSHS Library.  If you have questions or are interested I encourage you to reach out to Mrs. Suzanne Risinger, CSHS Spanish teacher and sponsor for this unique educational opportunity.
