China Spring High School Prom 2025

Location: China Spring High School
Time: 8:00 - 11:00 pm
No admittance after 9:00 pm, parents will be called after 9:00 pm if student has not arrived. Students and guests are not allowed to leave before 10:00 pm.

Event Details:

  • 7:45 pm: Doors Open

  • 10:00 pm: Prom Queen and King Announced

  • Snacks and drinks will be served

Class Fees:

All of your class fees must be current before you can purchase a prom ticket. Freshman through junior class fees are $25 per year, senior class fees are $35. Current year class fees may be paid in the office or online via My School Bucks through April 4. Past year's class fees must be paid in person with cash or check. Beginning April 7, class fee payments can be paid during lunch in the cafeteria.

Drug Testing:

All China Spring students attending prom must be signed up for the drug testing program before September 15 or 15 days after enrollment.

FAFSA:

Seniors must submit a FAFSA confirmation email or opt out form to the Counseling Center to be eligible to purchase a ticket.

Guests:

All guests must be current freshman in high school through 19 years of age. Guests that are non-China Spring ISD students must complete and submit a guest application and be approved prior to purchasing a ticket. Guest application forms are located in the office. Non-China Spring ISD guests must present a photo ID at the door. Guests without identification will not be admitted. Freshman, sophomores, and non-China Spring ISD guests must accompany their junior or senior date to enter prom.

Ticket Process

  1. Complete the Student Information Google Form: All juniors and seniors will receive a Google form link in their school email account. The form can be submitted one time only, make sure to have your information before you start. You will need the following information: Student name, cell number, parent/guardian cell number, guest name, guest cell number, guest parent/guardian cell number.

  2. Complete Prom Attendance Checklist: Prom Attendance Checklist may be picked up and returned to the office. Forms must be completed at least one day before purchasing a ticket. Submitted forms will be verified by staff. Once approved the student will receive a Prom Ticket Code Number paper with the code for each ticket needing to purchase. Prom Ticket Code Number papers and incomplete Prom Attendance Checklist will be passed out during lunch.

  3. Purchase Tickets Online: Tickets are $30 each through HomeTown from April 1-30. Beginning May 1, tickets will be $40 each. The HomeTown link will be posted on the Prom Ticket Code # form, sent to junior and seniors via email, and posted on the China Spring ISD webpage.

Attire:

Dress is formal. Girls will wear semi-formal, formal gowns, or outfits with pants. Strapless and spaghetti straps will be permitted. Dresses should be modestly cut, no plunging necklines.

Boys will wear a suit or sports coat, or at a minimum are expected to wear semi-formal wear, such as slacks, nice shoes, and a nice shirt (ties are encouraged, but not required).

All Students and Guests:

Visible tattoos will not be allowed. Blue jeans will not be allowed. If the attire is questionable, students are encouraged to show their evening wear to administrators beforehand to determine if it is dance appropriate. Students/guests who are non-compliant with the dress code will be given an opportunity to comply with the aforementioned policy. If the students/guests refuse to comply, they will not be permitted to attend prom and will not receive a refund.
