Parent/Guardian NEWSLETTER

Good morning! I hope that everyone has had a great weekend. We have a busy last week of school at CSHS with final exams, beginning Wednesday, May 28^th, and Graduation on Friday, May 30^th. Finally, I want to remind everyone that Friday, May 30^th, is an early release for the district. Buses will run at 12:30 pm. If you have questions do not hesitate to reach out to the office.

Senior Parents: Please see the dates and times for upcoming events for seniors. Seniors are required to be at school at the designated times May 27th, May 28th, May 29th, and May 30th. None of the events will begin until all seniors are in attendance the last week of school.

Student Medications: If your student(s) have medication in the nurse’s office, you will need to pick it up before the last day of school, May 30^th. Students are not allowed to take medication home themselves. All medications left at CSHS will be thrown away. If you have questions please contact Ashley Ellis at 254-1771 or email her Nurse Ellis.

Summer Office Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Thursday 6/2 – 7/25 (Closed Week of July 4^th)
Spring 2025 Final Exam Schedule 9^th – 11^th Grades: Below is the exam schedule for all 9^th – 11^th Grade students. If a student is exempt from a final, and they have more finals that day they will report to the cafeteria for supervision. If a student is done for the day and have no more finals they are allowed to leave at the conclusion of the exam period. Friday, May 30^th, is an early release day CSISD. High School and Middle School buses will run at 12:30 pm. If you have questions do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Summer School: The hours for summer school, for EOC remediation, will be 8:30 am – 11:30 am, and will begin on Wednesday, June 4^th. If your student is required to attend summer school due to credit defiencency, you will be notified by the counselors during the week of June 2nd, and it will begin on Monday, June 9th. If your student needs to attend summer school for EOC remediation, you will be notified by your student(s)’ teachers this week.

Week 1:            June 4th - 5th (EOC Remediation)
Week 2:            June 9th - 12th (EOC Remediation and Credit Recovery)
Week 3:            June 16th - 19th (EOC Remediation and Credit Recovery)
Week 4: June 23rd - 26th (EOC Re-tests and Credit Recovery)
