Week of January 12-15

Our second semester is off to a strong and energetic start, with many exciting activities and accomplishments already underway:

  • Basketball has begun district play, and both our boys’ and girls’ teams are competing with focus and determination.

  • Soccer season is officially underway, and our programs are building momentum as they enter competitive play.

  • UIL Academics has begun tournament rounds, with students representing our campus well through their preparation and academic excellence.

  • Several of our students are currently participating in the major sheep stock show in San Antonio, showcasing both responsibility and excellence beyond the classroom.

  • We successfully passed our state audit of the Health Sciences lab, affirming that our facilities, procedures, and instructional practices meet required standards.

  • The Electric Blues Dance Team has officially launched their competition season and is already making a strong impression.

  • Our Robotics Club continues to go above and beyond, working on multiple service-oriented projects while sharpening their technical and problem-solving skills.

  • The December EOC retests were administered, and I am pleased to report that our results were outstanding, reflecting the hard work of both our students and teachers.

  • Report Cards coming out this week. Please reach out to your student’s teacher and/or counselor if you have any questions.

  • Attendance

    • We take attendance every period at CSHS. If you are going to be absent, please let the office know. 

  • Detentions

    • There are detentions every day after school and, in addition, Friday schools will be happening for students needing to make up seat time for attendance.
