Week of January 12-15
Our second semester is off to a strong and energetic start, with many exciting activities and accomplishments already underway:
Basketball has begun district play, and both our boys’ and girls’ teams are competing with focus and determination.
Soccer season is officially underway, and our programs are building momentum as they enter competitive play.
UIL Academics has begun tournament rounds, with students representing our campus well through their preparation and academic excellence.
Several of our students are currently participating in the major sheep stock show in San Antonio, showcasing both responsibility and excellence beyond the classroom.
We successfully passed our state audit of the Health Sciences lab, affirming that our facilities, procedures, and instructional practices meet required standards.
The Electric Blues Dance Team has officially launched their competition season and is already making a strong impression.
Our Robotics Club continues to go above and beyond, working on multiple service-oriented projects while sharpening their technical and problem-solving skills.
The December EOC retests were administered, and I am pleased to report that our results were outstanding, reflecting the hard work of both our students and teachers.

Attendance
We take attendance every period at CSHS. If you are going to be absent, please let the office know.
Detentions
There are detentions every day after school and, in addition, Friday schools will be happening for students needing to make up seat time for attendance.
