CSHS Parent Newsletter:

Week of May 26th

NO SCHOOL MONDAY, MAY 25th

SENIOR PARENTS

*Attendance each day this week is mandatory. 

Tuesday, May 26th - Final Cap and Gown Picture 

  • (Students must be in hair code, facial hair code.) Senior Field Day follows. 

  • Report to school by 8:15am

Wednesday, May 27th - Senior Breakfast.

  • Students wear your college shirt. Education foundation will be doing interviews. 

  • The 2026 CS Aerial photo will be this day as well at the football stadium

  • Report to school by 8:15am

Thursday, May 28th - Graduation Practice. 

  • Report by 7:30am (DO NOT BE LATE)

  • Buses leave by 8:15am

    • ALL STUDENTS RIDE TO AND FROM FERRELL CENTER ON CSISD BUSES

  • Graduation Practice begins promptly at 9:00am

  • Eligible Seniors may go home when they return from graduation practice

Friday, May 29th - Final Senior Meeting/Preparations

  • Report by 9:00am

  • Eligible students will be able to leave once final meetings are complete. 

Saturday, May 30th - Graduation!

  • Ferrell Center on the Campus of Baylor University

  • Ceremony Begins at 2:00pm sharp

  • Students arrive at Ferrell Center at 12:30pm.

  • Doors open for all attenders at 1:00pm

  • Students MUST be in facial hair code and proper attire

  • NO JEANS or DENIM Pants

  • NO SHORTS

  • NO FLIP-FLOPS

  • NO BEDAZZLED CAPS

  • ONLY CSHS CHORDS

    • NHS

    • MILITARY

    • TOP 10%

  • Students not in hair code, dress code, or facial hair code will be asked to change and get into code before the ceremony. Students must be in code to walk. 

OTHER IMPORTANT INFO FOR THIS WEEK.

Final Exams for 9-11th grade students are Thursday and Friday, May 28th and 29th. Students must attend ALL CLASSES EVEN IF THEY ARE EXEMPTING THE FINAL FOR THAT CLASS. No Late arrive or early dismissal. 

Be on the lookout for a summer school email and phone call from CSHS. If your student needs:

  • Attendance make-up time

  • Failing grade make up

  • EOC Re-Testing

CSHS Will be reaching out with important dates and times for summer school.
