HAPPENINGS:

DRESS FOR YOUR FUTURE CAREER DAY (Special Project!):

On Tuesday, December 16th, we’re asking all students to participate in our campus special project by dressing for their future career! Students may wear clothing that represents what they hope to do when they grow up (doctor, teacher, engineer, artist, etc.). Christmas hats are still welcome, so feel free to pair them with your career-day outfit for some holiday fun!

GRADE LEVEL CHRISTMAS PARTIES:

Our grade level Christmas parties will be held Thursday, December 18th (time TBD). Teachers will be communicating with families soon with party specifics, including schedules and any requested items. As a reminder, all guests must be on the student’s approved visitor list in the Parent Portal and must have “Right to Transport” in order to sign a student out. We ask that a maximum of two (2) guests per student attend, and please refrain from bringing siblings. Thank you for helping us keep our campus safe and celebrations running smoothly!

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS DRESS-UP DAYS:

Celebrate the holiday season with 12 days of festive dress-up fun throughout December!

  • Tuesday 12/9: Christmas Vacation

To attend, students must meet the following behavior expectations from November 11th–December 8th:

  • No more than 2 minor referrals

  • No more than 1 teacher-assigned lunch detention

  • No major referrals

  • No OSS/ISS/AEC

Additional need-to-know items for the game:

  • Students may bring a lunch or choose a school-provided sack lunch. They may also bring money for concessions.

  • Please have students wear a CS shirt or CS colors.

  • No cell phones will be allowed for this trip.

  • No parent chaperones will attend this trip.

We are looking forward to cheering on the Bears!

PENGUIN PATCH HOLIDAY SHOP COMING DECEMBER 8-11:

We’re excited to bring the Penguin Patch Holiday Shop to our campus this year! This fun, kid-friendly fundraiser gives students the opportunity to shop for affordable holiday gifts for family and friends all on their own. Items typically range from small trinkets to sweet keepsakes such as keychains, mugs, jewelry, and other fun surprises priced to fit a child’s budget.

The shop will be open December 8–11 during the school day.

We also need Parent Volunteers to help students shop and check out. A volunteer sign-up form was sent out on our Facebook page. You can also sign up HERE. We appreciate your support in making this event memorable for our students!

LOST AND FOUND:

We have lots of lost items that are needing to be found and returned to their home! Any items not picked up by Christmas Break will be donated to Goodwill. Please have your child check these items.
